Replay the search terms exactly as the user entered them without changing the formatting or spacing. This helps to spot and correct input errors using the 'Search again' link.
Some data sources will return addresses in ALL CAPITALS, which is hard to read. If your data source does this, transform results into title case before displaying them to users.
Results list
Show the matching addresses as a single list of radios, with a primary button to confirm the choice.
Do not use pagination to split up a long list of results. Pagination forces people to guess which page their result is on and also makes navigation more difficult for screen reader users.
If your research finds that long results lists are causing problems, it is better to offer a way to refine the search and make sure manual entry is easily available.
