Open questions
These components and patterns are not yet part of the DWP Design System. They are published early because there is enough evidence to inform design decisions, but not enough to set a standard.
Each one is built around a set of hypotheses. The hypotheses describe what we think is true and why. They have not been tested. We need teams working in real service contexts to do that.
How you can help
If your service is working on one of these questions, we need your help to take the hypotheses into your service context and test them.
That means:
- reading the hypotheses before you design
- using them to shape what you test and what you measure
- telling us what you found, whether your results support the hypothesis or contradict it
A hypothesis that proves false is as useful as one that proves true.
