Roadmap
This is the roadmap for the DWP Design System. It shows what we plan to work on in the future. We update this plan regularly depending on the feedback, contributions and requests we receive.
The roadmap was last updated in August 2022. See the latest updates section for previously released features.
Now
Design System goals
- To publish at least 4 priority components or patterns before September 2022. We will publish:
- Get help with an application or service (done)
- Cookies page
- Find my address by postcode/house number
- Navigation (primary)
- Internal service page (done)
- To run discovery and research activity on:
- Contact preferences – help us by joining the Contact preferences discussion
- Navigation (secondary/pagination/tabs) – help us by joining the Navigation discussion
- Find someone – help us by joining the Find someone discussion
- Find a record – help us by joining the Find a record discussion
- To make it easier for people to see what’s been worked on, what’s new and how to use it. To do this we will:
- publish Backlog (done)
- publish Roadmap (done)
- publish ‘Get started’ guidance (ongoing)
- publish latest updates section (ongoing)
- To make sure the Design System website and published things meet WCAG 2.1 by:
- publishing Accessibility Statement (done)
- publishing the results of accessibility testing on each component
